Space Jam is the greatest film of all time because it does not concern itself with simply our planet, on our base humanity. Space Jam turns its camera to the heavens, to the dark, unending skies, and in doing so helps capture the essential tenets of being alive better than any film ever made. To understand what Space Jam is trying to say is to understand yourself.
